Wedding Cake

The wedding ritual is grand and cheerful in social discourse, but the transactional nature of the ritual itself with its gender and class inequalities intrigues me. I want my wedding cake to be as beautiful as a wedding with a absurd filling.

Is the wedding just a trap woven with flowers, white veils and long dresses. And does this trap exist everywhere in other scenarios where the concept of beauty is served to men and beauty is defined by a patriarchal society. So are girls' expectations and dreams of weddings instilled by mass media and social concepts. The prince and the princess will eventually get married and live happily ever after. And a grand wedding is the final chapter of the princess's story, so this wedding must be gorgeous and perfect.
